Hosts with all their heart

The Hotel Schlehdorn, a family-run business since 1967, combines warm hospitality with environmental awareness. It has developed from what was once a 6-room guesthouse into an eco-friendly 4-star wellness hotel. The dedicated team creates a warm, family-like atmosphere.

For us, comfort and the environment go hand in hand. We offer you the opportunity to make a donation to support climate protection during your stay. This is how we combine tradition and progress.

Not being at home and still feeling at home

Since its foundation in 1967 by Maria and Peter Dünnebacke, the once small 6-room hotel “Schlehdorn” has developed into a renowned 4-star wellness hotel. After Martin and his wife Susanne took over the running of the hotel in 1985, management is now in the hands of the third generation: their sons Felix and Johannes. Together with Felix’s wife Beatrice and Annika, they are carrying on the tradition.

Guests can look forward to special experiences such as driven hunts in the family’s own hunting grounds, which the brothers will personally guide.

Home is a matter of the heart – A strong sense of community

As a family-run business in Feldberg, we are proud to be part of a vibrant community. Whether it’s at festivals, sporting events or in keeping local traditions alive – it is the clubs and organisations in our community that make the Upper Black Forest a real home.

It is precisely this deep connection to our region and our community that we wish to highlight here. For it is only by working together that our homeland can remain what it is for all of us: a real home.
